My Story
This site is a service to you as a result of my experience after moving to La Paz and beginning the search for a place to live. My goal is to make your experience easier when you decide to move to La Paz and to provide you with the necessary information to assist you making arrangements in advance of your arrival to this beautiful city on the Sea of Cortez.
More importantly, this site provides local owners/landlords with a vehicle to market their property. Since they have limited resources or effective local opportunities to market their property, I gladly provide them with this opportunity and service.
I will provide you with all the information you will need to pursue a rental property. It will be your responsibility to call the owner/landlord and communicate your needs and negotiate a rental agreement. It is important to keep in mind that many owners/landlords do not speak English, therefore I suggest that you have someone that is fluent in Spanish, if not yourself, to communicate.
La Paz has a wonderful boardwalk known as the Malecon that is over 2 miles long stretching from one end of the primary seafront to the other. In many cases you will see a reference to the Malecon as to the distance from the rental property to it. The Malecon is a plethera of shops, restaurants, hotels, and bars that provide you with an incredible taste of La Paz that you will be quite impressed with.
